BRANDED PREMIUM WOODEN PENS

While visiting Hervey Bay on a family holiday Dave & Ash met Bryan Hope a local craftsmen, in which we collaborated our handcrafted pen merchandise. The woods chosen are of premium quality and  have a story behind both.

Silky Oak Wood - 

The Silky Oak (Grevillea robusta) is a very popular native tree in Australia and can grow to 20 metres and live for up to 100 years. It's bright golden-yellow flowers are actually flower heads made up of around 100 small flowers. The wood used in the pens came from a local farm situated between Toogoom and Hervey Bay. The trees had been bulldozed to clear land and were in a pile ready to be burnt when Bryan rescued the timber. 

David & Ash have designed and manufactured our merchandise via supporting Sunshine Coast vendors - printers, digital artists, graphic designers & more, everything is made with quality material, embroidery & screen printing our logo onto quality hand picked merchandise, chill cafe 89 holds a huge part in the SC community.
